Our Mission
Healthcare access shouldn't depend on whether you know the difference between an orthopedist and a physiatrist, or whether you have insurance. Happy Healthy Karma exists to close the gap between people and the care they need — by letting anyone search for a provider the natural way, by condition or symptom, completely free.
We believe the right provider is out there for everyone. Our job is simply to help you find them.
What Happy Healthy Karma Does
Most healthcare directories make you choose a specialty first. But most people don't think in specialties — they think in symptoms. "My knee hurts." "I've been feeling anxious." "My child has a fever." Happy Healthy Karma translates those real-world descriptions into the right type of care, then shows you providers near you on an interactive map.
Search is completely free. No account required. No insurance information needed. Results load instantly using real provider data from multiple trusted sources including the federal NPI Registry, HERE Maps, and OpenStreetMap contributors.

Describe your symptoms in plain language and get guidance on what type of provider might be a good fit. Not a diagnosis — a starting point for understanding what kind of care to look for. Available in General and Mental Health modes.

Enter your blood pressure, heart rate, blood sugar, or cholesterol numbers and get a plain-language explanation of what those numbers mean and when to follow up with a doctor. Based on established clinical reference ranges from the American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association.
How Our Provider Data Works
Happy Healthy Karma pulls provider information from multiple sources to give you the most complete picture possible:
Data Sources
- NPPES NPI Registry — the federal government's National Provider Identifier database, maintained by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Contains verified, licensed healthcare providers across the United States.
- HERE Maps — a commercial mapping platform used by major technology companies for business location data.
- OpenStreetMap — a community-maintained open geographic database used by organizations worldwide.
- Geocodio — a geocoding service that converts provider addresses to map coordinates.
Free Forever — How We're Supported
Happy Healthy Karma is completely free for users and always will be. We are supported by affiliate partnerships with telehealth and wellness providers. When a user finds an online therapy service or telehealth provider through HHK, we may earn a referral commission from that partner at no cost to the user.
